💐 May, Celebrating Our Amazing Mothers

Mother's Day gave us a wonderful opportunity to pause and recognize the incredible women who play such an important role in our children's lives. We would like to extend a heartfelt Happy Mother's Day to all of our TCC moms, grandmothers, aunts, and mother figures who provide endless love, support, and encouragement each day.
The children enjoyed celebrating the special people who care for them. Throughout the week, many conversations centered around the things they love most about their moms and family members. Hearing their sweet stories and expressions of gratitude always reminds us how important these relationships are.
Thank you for all you do to nurture, teach, and love the children in your lives. Your dedication helps shape confident, caring, and successful young learners. We hope each of you felt appreciated and celebrated on your special day.
🎨 A Farewell to Ms. Cailee:
"Learning to be Creative Together"

This month marked the conclusion of an exciting semester of art exploration with Ms. Cailee, our wonderful mentee from Los Medanos College. Throughout her time with us, she inspired our children to express themselves creatively while learning about the artistic process from start to finish.
One of the children's favorite projects was creating their own custom shirts using tie-dye sprayers and fabric markers. The children loved experimenting with colors, patterns, and designs to create wearable works of art that reflected their unique personalities. It was exciting to watch their imaginations come to life!

To celebrate Ms. Cailee's final week, TCC hosted a special Sip and Paint event. Each child received a canvas, easel, paintbrush, and acrylic paints to create their own masterpiece. While they painted, they enjoyed delicious smoothies prepared by Mrs. Melissa.
We wrapped up the celebration with a pizza party and lots of smiles. We are so thankful for the time, creativity, and kindness Ms. Cailee shared with our students this semester and wish her continued success in all her future endeavors.
🎂 Birthday Celebrations:
"Happy Birthday to our May Babies"

Birthdays are always a special time at TCC, and May gave us several wonderful reasons to celebrate! We would like to wish a very Happy Birthday to Ms. Nicole and Mr. Daniel, who both celebrated on May 11th, as well as Michael, who celebrated his special day on May 21st.
Our children always enjoy taking part in birthday celebrations, whether it's singing songs, sharing smiles, or helping friends and teachers feel extra special on their big day. These moments help build a sense of community and belonging within our center.
We hope each birthday was filled with joy, laughter, and wonderful memories with family and friends. Thank you for allowing us to celebrate alongside you. Happy Birthday to all of our May birthday stars!
🍒 Preschool Field Trip:
A Cherry Picking Adventure
One of the highlights of May was our exciting cherry-picking field trip! The morning class and school-age students had the opportunity to spend time outdoors while learning about farming, nature, and where some of our favorite fruits come from.
During the trip, the children explored several varieties of cherries and learned about how cherries grow, when they are harvested, and what makes each variety unique. The experience provided hands-on learning that brought classroom lessons to life in a fun and meaningful way.
Of course, the best part was picking cherries straight from the trees! The children enjoyed filling their containers, tasting fresh cherries, and spending time with friends in the beautiful outdoor setting. It was a wonderful day filled with learning, exploration, and plenty of smiles.
🌟Student of the Month
Congratulations to Venayah Sharma

Venayah consistently demonstrates what it means to be a positive role model in the classroom. She is an excellent listener who pays close attention during lessons, circle time, and daily activities. Her ability to follow directions and stay engaged helps create a positive learning environment for everyone around her.
Not only does Venayah listen carefully, but she also leads by example. Her respectful attitude, willingness to participate, and kind interactions with classmates make her someone others naturally look up to. She shows maturity beyond her years and takes pride in doing her best each day.
