🤝 TCC in the Community: Resource Fair Success

On Saturday, April 11, 2026, TCC proudly participated in the 2nd Annual Ready Kids East County Resource Fair. This exciting community event brought together families and organizations from across the area, offering valuable resources and information.
Mrs. Stacie and Miss Jordyn represented TCC with enthusiasm and heart. They connected with families, shared insights about our programs, and highlighted what makes our school such a special place for children to learn and grow. Their presence helped strengthen our ties within the community.
With a great turnout and positive energy throughout the day, the event was a wonderful success. We are always grateful for opportunities to engage with our community and showcase the work we are so passionate about.
🎨 Art Month with Ms. Cailee:
"Creativity in Full Bloom"
This month, our young artists continued their creative journey with Ms. Cailee, diving deeper into the idea that art is about the process—not just the final product. The children were encouraged to explore, experiment, and express themselves freely, which led to some truly imaginative experiences.

One of the highlights was a nature walk where students gathered items like sticks, leaves, and other natural treasures. These materials became both tools and inspiration for their artwork. Some children painted using sticks, discovering new textures and techniques, while others used leaves to create beautiful imprints and patterns. It was a wonderful way to connect art with the natural world.
In addition to nature-based projects, the children also explored three-dimensional art using air dry clay. They shaped, molded, and brought their ideas to life, strengthening both creativity and fine motor skills. As Ms. Cailee prepares to conclude her time with us at TCC, we look forward to seeing what final creative experiences she has in store. Her impact on our students’ artistic growth has been truly meaningful.

🏥 Hospital Month with Ms. Fun:
"Learning Through Play"
Learning about health and the human body took center stage this month with Ms. Fun’s engaging hospital unit. The children explored what it means to take care of themselves and others, building both knowledge and empathy along the way.
A major focus was understanding how the lungs work. Through hands-on projects, students created models that demonstrated breathing and lung function. These activities helped make complex ideas simple and fun, giving children a clearer understanding of how their bodies function every day.
The learning didn’t stop there! The classroom transformed into a lively hospital setting through dramatic play. Children took on roles as doctors, nurses, and patients, practicing communication, problem-solving, and caregiving skills. This interactive approach made learning both meaningful and memorable.
🍓 Preschool Field Trip: Sweet Adventures in Strawberry Picking
Our preschoolers enjoyed a delightful outdoor adventure this month with a field trip to go strawberry picking! The morning class, along with our dedicated staff, spent time exploring the farm and discovering where their food comes from.
This hands-on experience allowed the children to see, touch, and pick their own strawberries, making learning both fun and meaningful. There’s something special about tasting a fruit you picked yourself, and the excitement was clear on every child’s face.
Beyond the fun, the trip also encouraged curiosity about nature and healthy eating. It was a beautiful day filled with laughter, exploration, and plenty of sweet memories.
