Looking Back at a Wonderful June!

Hello TCC Families!

Summer is officially here, and what an exciting month June has been at Training Children Child Care! From celebrating our amazing graduates to exploring how our incredible bodies work, our children have been learning, laughing, creating, and making memories every single day. Whether we were picking fresh peaches, reading exciting adventures, or cheering on our students as they reached new milestones, June was filled with opportunities to grow together.

At TCC, we believe children learn best through hands-on experiences. Every activity, field trip, lesson, and celebration helps build confidence, curiosity, friendships, and a lifelong love of learning. We are thankful for all of our wonderful families who continue to support everything we do. Thank you for allowing us to be part of your children's journey.

As you read through this month's newsletter, we hope you enjoy looking back on all the fun we shared and get excited about everything still to come this summer!

💐 May, Celebrating TCC Super Dads!

Father's Day gave us the perfect opportunity to recognize all of the incredible fathers and father figures who help shape the lives of our children every day.

To all of our amazing dads, grandfathers, uncles, stepfathers, and special father figures—thank you for your love, guidance, patience, and support. Your encouragement helps build confidence, strength, and character in the lives of your children.

Children thrive when they know they are loved and supported both at home and at school. We appreciate every hug at drop-off, every bedtime story, every word of encouragement, and every sacrifice made behind the scenes. Those everyday moments make a lifelong impact.

From everyone here at Training Children Child Care, we hope each of you had a wonderful Father's Day filled with love and appreciation. Thank you for being our TCC Super Dads!

🎓 Congratulations, Graduates!

"Celebrating the Class of 2026!"

Graduation day is always one of the most meaningful moments of the year, and this year's celebration was truly special. Thank you to every family who joined us for our small and intimate ceremony. Your love and support helped make the day unforgettable.

Congrats Miyanie Stafford
Congrats Miyanie Stafford

A very special congratulations goes to Miyanie Stafford, our preschool graduate! We are incredibly proud of all you have accomplished and know you are ready for the exciting adventure of kindergarten. Your bright smile, kindness, and joyful spirit will certainly be missed in our morning class.

We would also like to congratulate Reniyah Stafford and Mia Gomez for successfully completing kindergarten and moving on to 1st Grade! What an exciting milestone! We know both of you will continue to grow, learn, and achieve wonderful things in elementary school.

Watching our students reach these important milestones reminds us why we love what we do. Congratulations to all of our graduates—we are so proud of you and cannot wait to see everything you accomplish in the years ahead!

🏥 Healthy Bodies, Healthy Minds

"Hospitals & Taking Care of Our Bodies"

Our health unit wrapped up this month, and the children had an incredible time discovering just how amazing the human body really is! Through hands-on projects, science activities, and dramatic play, they explored what happens inside our bodies every single day.

One of the biggest highlights was creating our very own classroom ambulance! The children loved using it during dramatic play as they took turns becoming doctors, nurses, EMTs, patients, and family members. This imaginative play helped them understand how healthcare workers care for people when they are hurt or sick while building communication and teamwork skills.

We also traveled through the digestive system, learning the journey food takes after every bite. The children were fascinated by how each organ has an important job in helping our bodies get energy and nutrients.

We continued our learning by talking about germs, how they spread, and what we can do to stay healthy. After watching episodes of The Magic School Bus, everyone became little scientists as they discovered how white blood cells work hard to protect our bodies from invading germs.

To finish our unit, we built a model of blood to explore the different parts that keep us alive and healthy. We also learned all about our heart, why it never takes a break, and how exercise helps make it stronger. The children even observed how their heartbeats changed after running and moving around. It was a fun and exciting way to see science come to life!

📚 Reading & Math Club Adventures

"Kicking Off a Summer Full of Learning"

Summer learning continues to shine at TCC! Our Reading and Math Clubs are helping students stay engaged while preparing for another successful school year.

Trip to the Freedom Library
Trip to the Freedom Library

This summer, our readers have been divided into small reading groups, with each group exploring a different adventure from the beloved Magic Tree House book series. These exciting stories have taken our students on journeys through history, nature, and imagination while strengthening their reading skills.

Along with reading each chapter, students complete comprehension questions, vocabulary activities, writing assignments, and creative projects connected to their books. These activities encourage students to think deeply about what they read while improving their confidence and communication skills.

Our Math Club has also been busy reviewing important concepts while introducing new skills that will prepare students for the upcoming school year. By keeping learning fun, interactive, and consistent throughout the summer, our students are building confidence that will help them return to school ready to succeed.

🎂 Birthday Celebrations:

"Happy Birthday to our June Stars"

Birthdays are always a special time at TCC because they remind us just how much each child and staff member means to our school family. We love celebrating another year of growth, laughter, learning, and wonderful memories together.

This month we were excited to celebrate several very special birthdays. Happy Birthday to:

  • Mia (June 4th)

  • Noah (June 7th)

  • Mr. Josh (June 16th)

  • Jayla (June 28th)

  • Ezra (June 30th)!

We hope each of you had a day filled with love, laughter, cake, and lots of smiles!

Watching our children grow from year to year is one of the greatest joys of being educators. Each birthday reminds us of how much they have learned, how much their personalities have blossomed, and how proud we are of the amazing young people they are becoming.

From your entire TCC family, we wish each birthday star a year full of happiness, exciting adventures, good health, and countless blessings. Happy Birthday!

🌞 Summer Field Trip Fun

"Every Week a New Adventure!"

Summer means adventure, and June was packed with exciting field trips that gave our children opportunities to learn far beyond the classroom walls.

Peach Picking

One of our favorite adventures was visiting the peach orchard, where students learned where fresh fruit comes from while enjoying the experience of picking peaches right from the trees. There is something special about harvesting your own fruit, and the children loved every minute of it.

Bookstore

Our adventures also included a visit to Barnes & Noble, where students explored shelves full of exciting books and discovered new stories to spark their imaginations. We spent time enjoying the local park, giving everyone opportunities to play, exercise, and enjoy the beautiful summer weather with friends.

The Movies

Of course, no summer would be complete without a trip to the movies! Whether learning, exploring, or simply having fun together, each field trip gave our students new experiences and lasting memories. We can't wait to see where our next adventure takes us!

🌟Student of the Month

Congratulations to Edward Stafford

Congratulations to our July Student of the Month, Edward Stafford!

Edward has done an outstanding job throughout our Reading Program this month. Although he is not participating in the older students' reading groups, he has shown just as much dedication and determination in completing his own work. His positive attitude and willingness to learn have truly stood out.

Edward consistently completes his assignments on time and always puts forth his best effort. He comes prepared to learn, listens carefully, and works independently while still being respectful and cooperative with both teachers and classmates.

We are incredibly proud of Edward's hard work, responsibility, and commitment to learning. Keep up the fantastic work, Edward! We know great things are ahead for you, and we are honored to celebrate your accomplishments this month.
